What is GDPR?

Posted on 2022-11-21

The General Data Protection Regulation, or in short GDPR, is a data law in the European Union with the aim of strengthening the protection of personal data for individuals who reside in the EU. The GDPR also aims to increase transparency for how personal data is used and to provide EU residents with more control over their data.

We at Prenza are well aware of the importance of personal data protection and respect our users’ privacy. Thus we handle all information provided to us with great care, and we guarantee security and confidentiality while processing our users’ personal information.

We collect, use, and process data. Users provide some of the data directly (such as email address when creating a Prenza account), and we get some of the data by recording how and when users interact with our services. We collect certain personal data to operate effectively and provide the best experience with our services, whereas for the same reason, we may share some data with our trusted partners, who provide certain services for us. All of our partners ensure full GDPR compliance. None of the data that we share with our partners includes information that personally identifies our users. You can read more about sharing data in our Privacy Policy and updated Terms of Service.

We hold the firm belief that the data you entrust us with is within the scope of “personal data” as claimed by the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679. Since the processing of that data is absolutely necessary for us to provide you with our services, we must require your consent for such actions.

We use organizational, technical, and other appropriate measures in order to protect your personal data. We also use various measures to prevent unauthorized access or destruction of data, its alteration or loss, and unauthorized processing.

We assure you the right to:

  • access your personal data;
  • request correction, deletion, or processing restrictions of your personal data;
  • object to the processing of your personal data;
  • personal data portability.

Your personal data is kept in accordance with the purpose for which they are collected and stored as long as you use our services or until we receive your written cancellation.

The provision of personal data within the defined scope is necessary for the use of our services at www.Prenza.com. If you don't want to use Prenza services anymore, you can close your account - after login into your account, go to My Settings -> Security -> Close Prenza Account. After your account is closed, we will delete the data that we are not legally obliged to keep, and you will not be able to use our services.
